Choose by Bangkok area

In Bangkok, location usually matters more than saving a small amount on the room. BTS/MRT access can change your whole trip.

Nightlife

Nana Plaza

Best for Sukhumvit Soi 4, short walks, Nana BTS and a large choice of guest friendly hotels.

Transport

Soi Cowboy / Asok

Best for BTS Asok, MRT Sukhumvit, Terminal 21 and a balanced central base.

Silom

Patpong

Best for Silom, Sala Daeng, business-district access and a different nightlife atmosphere.

All-rounder

Sukhumvit

Best overall corridor for first-time visitors who want BTS access and many hotel styles.

Scenic

Riverside

Best for river views, temples, ICONSIAM and quieter evenings.

Transit

Airport hotels

Best for late arrivals, early departures and short stopovers.

How to choose your area

Nana and Asok

Nana is the most direct option for Sukhumvit Soi 4 and Nana Plaza. Asok is more balanced because it connects BTS Asok with MRT Sukhumvit and gives easy access to Terminal 21, restaurants and central transport.

Silom and Patpong

Silom works well if you want a mix of business district convenience, Patpong nightlife, Lumpini Park, restaurants and access to the Chao Phraya River. It feels different from Sukhumvit and can be a better base for repeat visitors.

Riverside and airport stays

Riverside hotels are calmer and more scenic, especially for couples or travelers who want temples, river boats and ICONSIAM. Airport hotels are mainly for late arrivals, early flights and one-night stopovers.
